I doubt I am incorrect.

We do have less “privacy” today than we had yesterday…and tomorrow we will have less than we have today. That trend will continue into the future…and the dynamic is only a significant negative if you choose to make it one.

But...fight it if you must. A future generation will take it to be as reasonable as we do telephones...and almost certainly will not be bothered by it as much as some of you folk today.

It is not a trend unless people let it happen. It is mind boggling to me that anyone would want that much government intrusion into their lives. What you are describing here is a way for the government to control the populace, not the other way around. That is concerning.

I consider Barack Obama to have been an okay president. I doubt he will be ranked in history among the top 25%, but he was a much, much, much better president than the guy now occupying the office. And he represented our nation on the world stage with class, dignity, and intelligence...all qualities now missing in Donald Trump.

I simply am not especially bothered by that fact that we are losing privacy. It seems to me to be the natural progression of things.

If you are bothered enough to fight it...FIGHT IT.

I suspect we will have less privacy tomorrow than we have today...and less the day after that...NO MATTER HOW MUCH SOME PEOPLE FIGHT IT.

We'll see.

As for "the government"...it seems to me that we have become a people who do not want to be governed.

Civilization demands that we be governed. We do not have to be stooges in order to allow ourselves to be governed. We simply have to be willing to work with each other for the common good.

we go w/ some sort of nationalized ID, whether issued directly from the feds like a passport, or manufactured to uniform federal standards by local DMV's across the nation,
should such ID include a biometric identifier, such as a retinal scan, or perhaps a thumb-print?
