Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder tweeted a message early Friday for FBI and Department of Justice employees that was as vague as it was clear: Be prepared. Be strong.

Holder addressed his warning and encouragement to the “career men and women” in the FBI and DOJ, saying, "Your actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned. Be prepared, be strong. Duty. Honor. Country."

Holder did not provide any other context to the meaning behind the tweet or say what prompted him to post the message.


The somewhat mysterious tweet, however, does come as the FBI investigates Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election amid questions about whether members of President Donald Trump's administration had inappropriate ties to the Russian government and after Trump's public feuding with ousted former FBI Director James Comey.

Holder is an idiot. Nobody is questioning the integrity of rank and file agents.

Good for Eric Holder. I hope most of the other former AG's...former heads of the FBI...and former heads of all America's Intelligence agencies give this kind of advise to the men and women who man these agencies.

Best to be warned not to succumb to the wanna-be dictator piece of garbage now occupying the White House...or the disgusting minions and sycophants now sucking up to him.

The Trump administration is at war with the FBI. They have not hidden their desire to take over its policy making decisions. They intend to destroy the separation of powers. Trump called it, demoralized and in disarray. He has been pounding it since Comey, who he originally liked because he helped him against Hillary. Once she was gone, he wanted to rein them in and control the FBI.

Drumpf is going to learn the hard way, The FBI was here long before Drumpf, and it will be here long after his worthless ass is dead and gone.
 
I seem to recall Holder's DOJ violating court orders in regard to Fast & Furious, and committing perjury. Must have all been part of an effort to be strong and promote honor.

In September 2012, after a nineteen-month review, the United States Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General cleared the Attorney General of any wrongdoing with regard to Fast and Furious, stating that there was "no evidence" that Holder knew about the operation before early 2011. The report did cite fourteen lower ranking officials for possible disciplinary action.[136] Holder responded to the internal investigation, saying "It is unfortunate that some were so quick to make baseless accusations before they possessed the facts about these operations – accusations that turned out to be without foundation and that have caused a great deal of unnecessary harm and confusion."[137]
