When MLK day was a floater holiday where I live, even the blacks didn't choose it.


I didn't own slave and since my family wasn't in the country yet, neither did they. Remember that.

Funny how the very people you say were freed choose to be slaves today to the Democrats. Wonderful results by having done so. Unemployment higher than all other groups. Commission of crimes higher than all other groups. IQ lower than all other groups. Food stamp and welfare use as a race greater than all other groups. Dropout rate higher than all other groups. One would think that having gerrymandered congressional district with black majority and black reps AND a black President would have helped.

Too bad the descendants of the slaves that were freed didn't go to the homeland of their ancestors. We'd have far less crime, far less use of the social programs, and far less bastard children than we have.

Nationwide, 1 in every 3 1/2 blacks uses food stamps and 1 in 8 uses welfare. For whites, it's one in every 12 - 13 with food stamps and 1 in every 42 with welfare.
