I'd probably end up with a new pet, because I'd take it home, and nurse it back to health. I've attempted it when I was younger with a small bird, that wasn't doing well, and doggie went after. I wasn't experienced enough to take care of it properly though. I also carried a dragonfly to shore, after it was knocked by a wave, when it flew too low. That one was a success, and it flew off anew.
