Look at the degree of focus on Israel as opposed to many other states that are far far worse and the truth behind the very thin veneer is obvious. Today the word Israel is used because what many want to say is no longer allowed to be said.
Yes, I am sure that a great many children believe the lie but the real leaders behind the boycott idea are not children, they know what they really want to say and can't say. Just look at the neighbouring states to Israel and see how they treat their own people (women especially) and ask why a democratic state, a state of equal opportunity is always the target of fake outrage. The agenda is obvious to those who wish to see it.
Now some singer has been pressurised into backing down through threats that she will lose money, and fans, the mob wins again against the weak.
I have heard of Lorde but never really listened to her, can't say that the good citizens of Tel Aviv are missing much to be honest. Her only real plus point is she doesn't seem to feel the need to dress as a cheap hooker like Miley Cyrus, Madonna or Lady Gaga.
Annie Lennox, has compared the most salacious modern pop stars to being “pimp and prostitute at the same time”, calling their behaviour “a glorified and monetised form of self-harm." Can't really disagree with that, she is only speaking the truth as she sees it.
