LIBERALS KILLED Kate Steinle with their racist Sanctuary City policy in San Francisco

The killing was an accident. We wouldn't even be talking about it if a legal citizen did it. Just like no one's talking about the hunter who shot the woman I referenced in 134, I suppose because his skin wasn't the wrong color.
mistaking a target is not anywhere near the same as gross carelessness with a firearm.
The guys story changed like 5 times -at one point he was claiming he was firing at "seals"
But that desn't mean he mistook Kate for a seal.

Zarate's lawyers called his acquittal "a slap at Trump". That's likely what motivated the jury to acquit this illegal killer. He never denied firing the fatal shot, and the ultra-liberal jury refuse to even convict him of manslaughter.

But in Cali, having a gun is regarded a s a bigger crime than using it to kill, apparently. The illegal killer was convicted of firearm possession. Another "slap at Trump"?

I just heard that the "compassionate" liberals of sanctuary city removed the impromptu memorial people had put up to Kate. They supposedly said it was a "hate shrine".

Must have been the US flag. :palm:
OMG.
Liberalism is a sick puppy. They seem to have no real moral code- except for removing historical Confederate statues

I can't even begin to type how loathsome it is to remove a memorial.
we even let victims of drunken driving put them up on the side of a road

Odd that you don’t see these kinds of incidents in countries with strict control over weapons.

Got any stats to support that assertion?

It'd be hard to find a sovereign country with stricter controls over weapons than the US sanctuary state of California, DEMOCRAT.

Tell the forum where the illegal killer got the pistol, if you even know.

Loser.

:rofl2:

OMG.
Trump was EMPATHETIC to the family - not just as some abstract "talking point".
And not just this family, but families across the country who weer victims as well

The family ( father ) fully supports passage of Kate's Law -stalled in the Senate by the Swamp.

How about some justice, and let the grace and compassion work itself out?
It's a travesty he wasn't convicted of at least involuntary manslaughter, just as it was a travesty he was in SF to begin with.

The family doesn't think the publicity is that great. These are good people. They have more grace and forgiveness about it than trump and others.

"As they awaited the verdict in the trial of Kate Steinle’s accused killer, her parents and brother had one overriding wish. It had nothing to do with the severity of the defendant’s conviction.
Above all, they wanted it to mark the end of a public profile they neither sought nor enjoyed. Each media interview, each exploitation of Kate’s name for political gain, each still shot of her smile on television only amplified the anguish of their loss. Yet they also wanted to convey their appreciation for the many strangers who, having heard their story, offered solace and assistance.

“We just want to get this over with and move on with our lives, and think about Kate on our terms. Nothing’s been on our terms. It’s been on everyone else’s terms,” said Jim Steinle, who was strolling with his 32-year-old daughter on a crowded San Francisco pier when she was shot and killed on July 1, 2015. He, his wife, Liz Sullivan, and their son, Brad Steinle, sat down with The Chronicle recently at their longtime East Bay home for an exclusive interview they planned to be their last.

We have never had a second of anger — not a moment,” Jim said. “Frustration, maybe, and sadness for sure, but no anger and no retaliation or vindictiveness or anything like that. We’re not that kind of people. Even if this guy gets 100 years in prison, it doesn’t solve anything; it doesn’t help anything. We would just like people to know ... that’s the Steinles’ feelings.”

Ironically, the penalty for killing a seal would have been very severe.

I’ve cited gun death stats til the cows come home, idiot. Look them up if you wish.

The testimony was it was found. As I said, in countries where firearms are strictly controlled, one does not find handguns laying around. Or really even stolen.

Cry a river, bitch.

you are confusing/conflating the stress of a trial -having to re-live all that -with supporting a law that convicted felons re-crossing the border over and over get time.

Nobody wants to deal with the cameras at a trial for their loved ones loss.
But her father ( the vocal one) firmly supports Kate's law,and has testified to such

What a sad little propagandist for illegal immigration you are. The point is that if the law against illegal immigration was enforced, Kate would still be alive.

I hope you become the victim of a crime committed by an illegal alien.

JIM STEINLE: It's indescribable. There is no words. I felt sorry for the many people that have come up to me, and you would see them struggle for a word to say. There just are no words until you have experienced it. But our faith has kept us strong and we believe we have a Kate on our shoulder. And we think other things are in play here. We haven't gotten our arms around them yet. I think this is just the beginning and not the end.

BILL O'REILLY: So do I, I agree.

STEINLE: If we can get this law passed and testified to that today, if we save one son, one daughter, one mother, one father, one sister, one brother, then Kate's death is not all in vain. >>

They also claimed this was a "white nationalist" gesture:

It was put up by an alt-right hate group. Why did you leave that out?

Okay IHA. Maybe I'll get uterine cancer also, then you'll have a two-fer.
