The irony of it all is off the charts

Here are a couple of questions for ya

1) How many people have ever been indicted over the Logan Act?
2) How many people have ever been prosecuted?
3) Why wasn’t Flynn charged with violating the Logan Act? If that is how your boy Mueller is going to take down Kushner and or Trump wouldn’t it have made it easier to have Flynn plead guilty to that same violation?

1. doesn't matter, it is still the law
2. See#1
3. Because Kushner and Trump are the targets.
Lying to the F.B.I. was a sufficient charge.

I get it alright.

The problem is it’s weak tea. It would make for an historically unique charge against an administration. And the next administration would be afraid to approach foreign governments or lay diplomatic ground work with them for fear of being charged with a crime.

So much for hitting the ground running on foreign policy after the January transition of power. But if that’s all you got, run with it.
Can you say President Ryan?

Because you know there’s an SP who is intent on charging someone for something?

You’re missing the political point with collusion. The MSM has been absolutely obsessed with Trump/Russian collusion for over a year. Democrats as well. If it turns out to be a fantasy, their credibility goes in the tank.

It also factors into an obstruction charge against Trump if Clouseau goes that route because the investigation was into something that never happened.

Millions of voters will rightfully call bullshit on the whole thing.
Incorrect. Flynn is a paid Russian/Turkish operative. Flynn was paid to give a speech at a Russian propaganda event in '15. A foreign operative on trump's campaign team amounts to active collusion with Russia.

That's before we discuss the ties to Wikileaks

So? I thought the concern was collusion with the Russians to rig the outcome of the election.

Think of this as the police being called to investigate a murder, and while doing so they see a robbery in progress. Are they supposed to ignore the robbery because they were tasked with investigating a murder?

Stupidest analogy ever. Is it illegal to "subvert a current president's agenda"? Can you cite the statute?

That's been established with Flynn. As for the transition team, they were not in a legal position to discuss policy with foreign leaders, given that they were private citizens.

What, according to some obscure 18th century statute that is unconstitutional anyways? And what has been established for Flynn? That he worked with the Russians to overturn an election? When? Was he charged?

Presidential Transition
https://www.gsa.gov/governmentwide-initiatives/presidential-transition
The Congress declares it to be the purpose of this Act to promote the orderly transfer of the executive power in connection with the expiration of the term of office of the President and the inauguration of a new President.”

The transfer of power from one administration to the next marks a significant moment in U.S. history. The Presidential Transition Acts of 1963 and 2015 give the General Services Administration (GSA) a prominent role in this process. They authorize the Administrator of GSA to provide the President-elect and the Vice-President-elect the services and facilities needed to assume their official duties.

He's a paid Russian operative. Now that he's been flipped, we'll find out exactly what he/trump were up to.
