The irony of it all is off the charts

The problem was the lie. Nothing wrong with a President-elect and his "group" contacting any country in the world for talks.

How is it possible for him to be accused of lying, yet Ma Clinton did far worse and got off scot-free?

Flynn knew what they were looking for and probably thought if he lied about the meeting they’d drop it and go look somewhere else. It was stupid, but nowhere near the same ballpark as Hillary.

But again, no collusion with Russians in the election. I guess there wasn’t any and all the media hyperventilating was for nothing.

How many here got sucked in by it? Let’s see a show of hands lol.

Ah, no, yes they can reach out, but Flynn was talking to the Russians about the sanctions at the same time the Government in power was enacting new sanctions, that goes beyond "contacting"

Amazing, the Republicans in Congress investigated those charges umpteen times over six years, and the right wing media litigated them all 24/7 for six years, but in the end, none of them were ever proven, now either they are the world's worst investigators or they were just innuendos from the offset

Not so much.

Obama told the Russians he would be more flexible after he got re-elected. Flynn could have asked the Russians to abstain in the UN anti-Isreal vote until Trump got in—-and it would be PRECISELY the same thing. Or they could have beer discussing how to go after ISIS.

Was it you that mentioned irony?

He lied, because the trump transition team plotted with Russia over the sanctions. I think the real question is going to be 'when did trump's team start colluding with Russia?"

Now how do you know that? Mueller has been at it six months, less time than the average criminal prosecution, and already we have seen four Trump campaign figures fall, one with very close ties to the President and campaign now apparently spilling the beans

I am not saying that there is collusion, nearly impossible to prove, but they are not out to prove collusion, rather Russia's influence in the election, the campaign may or may not be directly involved, but to state nothing exists at this point is inane

Hillary got off only because Comey let her off.

It wasn’t even in his job description and he had to make it up as he went, to do it. To this day, I’m dumbfounded by it.
