Well, it goes without saying that we know that those of your ilk don't care if a particular word offends someone, or not. If they wanna use the word, by Gawd, they will.

Your article points out that the original of the word is unclear; it does not state that is inoffensive to indigenous peoples. It is. Thanks for posting it anyways.

Last month we had a lovely geomagnetic storm here and I was able to get some good photos of the aurora from one of the beaches here. I showed them to my instructors at the university the following day; they had been up there that evening and saw the Lights as well. Both of them remarked that although the beach and surrounding area is very beautiful, they wished that the state would change its name from "Squaw Beach." They are both Anishinaabeg (Ojibwe).

I'm used to racist white men calling me a racist. They hate being outed.

One thing is for sure, Americans are starting to see just how corrupt and how they have been lying to americans for decades.

They just need to hurry up and do something about it before dump destroys us all.

Since I’ve never associated with low life pricks in my life, it’s difficult to imagine there are so many out there. Forums like this provide a window into how pervasive they are.

Eh, it depends. Most people don't like being called racist. So there are people, on this board and in the real world, who use it as a weapon to shut other people down because they know the power of the charge.

If I don't like you, I'll call you a racist
If I disagree with you, I'll call you a racist etc.

So depending on what one's goal is just calling all people racist doesn't necessarily advance any positive change.
