Notorious bigot celebrates after Trump shares her anti-Muslim hate videos

Jayda Fransen‏, a notoriously bigoted anti-Muslim activist in the United Kingdom who last year was convicted of harassing a Muslim woman in front of her four young children, celebrated on Wednesday morning after learning that President Donald Trump had shared her anti-Muslim videos.

“THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, DONALD TRUMP, HAS RETWEETED THREE OF DEPUTY LEADER JAYDA FRANSEN’S TWITTER VIDEOS!” wrote Fransen on her Twitter account. “DONALD TRUMP HIMSELF HAS RETWEETED THESE VIDEOS AND HAS AROUND 44 MILLION FOLLOWERS! GOD BLESS YOU TRUMP! GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

The videos in Jansen’s tweets purportedly show, among other things, Muslims destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary and beating a Dutch boy in crutches.

Jansen is the deputy leader of the far-right Britain First party, which was founded by former members of the British National Party, a neo-fascist party founded in the 1980s.

During her time as an activist, Jansen has become notorious for holding pro-Christian demonstrations outside of mosques in her country. Last year, she was fined roughly £2,000 (USD $2,680) for following a Muslim woman around and yelling at her about Muslim men committing rape in front of the woman’s four children.

Specifically, she told the woman that Muslim women must wear hijab because Muslim men “cannot control their sexual urges,” which is “why they are coming into my country raping women across the continent.”

Not only scapegoating, and going out of his way to paint Muslims in the most negative light possible....
...but tweeting videos who's veracity is questionable, and likely misleading or fake.

But the veracity of the videos is dubious, and their objective as well as Trump’s retweets ignited wide condemnation.

"It is wrong for the President to have done this," said a spokesman for British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Fransen and her anti-immigrant group have been accused of spreading misleading, anti-Muslim videos that receive hundreds of thousands of views on Twitter and Facebook.*Fransen also faces charges for using "threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour" during a speech in August in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is expected in court Dec. 14, the BBC reported.

CNN reported that press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that even if the authenticity of the videos was questionable, "the threat is real."

Texas teacher calls police on 6-year-old Muslim with Down syndrome after accusing him of terrorism

A substitute teacher in Pearland, Texas, called the police this week because she feared a 6-year-old Muslim boy with Down syndrome was a terrorist.

Fox 26 Houston reports that Mohammad Suleiman, the 6-year-old son of Pearland resident Maher Suleiman, got into trouble at school after his elementary school teacher called the police and told them that the boy kept repeating the words “Allah” and “boom.”

“It’s not true, he doesn’t speak at all,” said Suleiman of his son, who was born with Down*syndrome chromosome 21.

The teacher’s phone call to police prompted both a police investigation and a Child Protective Services investigation into the Suleiman family.
