She only has herself to blame going onto coalition with the hairshirt wearing, tofu eating Greens was always going to end in tears.

Merkel has been an umitigated disaster for German energy policy and with her insane immigration edicts it sets the stage for a Trump-like leader to be elected.

Even the Saudis are down with draining their Swamp, so who knows. Change is in the air.

Germans better hope to get a Trump type to replace her and slowly contain the Islam problem. If they don't do it now they'll have to deal with it in the future, meaning another Crusade or the annihilation of Germany itself.

Islam's intentions are clear- read their own Koran for a blueprint of taking over Europe. They'll take advantage of Europe's liberal policies and Christian values, immigrate legally or illegally, become a burden on the system to ultimately weaken their economic ability to defend itself, then in one or two generations breed themselves into a majority and simply vote freedom away, replacing it with Sharia law.

The fact:
Merkel has become the de facto West European leader.
One might expect that role to fall to someone from the U.N., or the E.U., or perhaps NATO.

Apparently without having sought the role.

Merkel has been a magnificent stabilizing influence. "an umitigated disaster for German energy policy"? Oh? Like what?

Germany has welcomed outsiders not just for years, not just for decades, but for generations.

Those that condemn Merkel's obviously exceptional immigration policy apparently lack the historic perspective to appreciate her motives.
