So, your logic is that there is money in AGW, therefore the idea of global warming itself (separate of AGW) is made up, therefore any other topic that doesn't make headlines is obscure because there is no money driving it.

Let’s you and me head out into the woods for one week.

You can bring a sleeping bag, tent, gun, canteen and a few supplies you can fit in a back pack. no cell phone or communication device whatsoever and let’s see who survives.
