He is grandfatherly, Biden is a toucher, I am as well, I have learned over the years that some people don’t care for it. I thought everyone was like me, but I learned that they aren’t and I now ask if I may hug people.

Damn, you guys are running scared. Really reaching with that "evidence" that Biden is "creepy." I re-ran the videos in that article 3x to try to discern the molestation. All I saw was a grandfatherly man poised in front of cameras with obviously-nervous people, using soothing gestures to calm them while trying not to make them feel objects of focus.

If you see something sinister and perverted there, there's probably something pathological with you that you might want to get checked out.

PS--Perverts and child molesters desire privacy and secrecy most of all. Except for Trump. He wants everyone to know that Ivanka is his and his alone.

Interesting. My family were people who were not touchers nor were they emotionally demonstrative. I never saw my parents kiss each other exc. on the cheeks, nor did they hug us much as kids. I was shocked and uncomfortable when I got married and found my in-laws were physically expressive in front of each other, including hugs and kisses upon meeting and leaving. I learned to adapt and eventually my parents accepted my hugs and kisses too. Sad, eh? Just how they were. My husband now was raised the same way.

As a mother and eventually as a health care provider I learned to overcome my aversion to being touched and touching strangers. Touch is healing. When I see these videos of Biden I see a guy who is using touch to comfort and to soothe. The fact that these were videos taken in public proves that there is nothing sinister here. Molesters and sickos abhor publicity. Except for Trump.... the photos of him taken on purpose with his daughter are disgusting. Not because I believe he molested her. But because he wanted her seen as a sex object even when she was a child.... HIS sex object. His, not yours.

Exactly, when people say, this isn’t the person I know, it’s because the molesters do their dirty deeds where no other eyes. see.
I have always found his attraction to Ivanka very creepy as well and wondered the same thing.

Honestly, you would be surprised - even amazed! - at how many rightwingers project their psychology onto others, engage in horseshit innuendo, or assert false accusations. Remember the book we read in high school, "Lord of the Flies"? That is basically a metaphor for what happens when herds of rightwingers congregate on a message board!

That's yet one additional reason I don't consider Roy Moore, and Al Franken equal violators.

Judge Moore is accused of removing clothing, and has not denied dating under-aged females, defending himself by saying if he ever did, he had her parent's permission.

In Franken's case:
a) She was apparently not underage, was in U.S. military uniform (I don't have corroborated details on her status).

b) Was apparently wearing a flack vest, thick torso armor. The notion of fondling though such thick material is laughable. Get it? Franken, a comedian.

c) Franken wasn't drooling over the sleeping female. He was mugging for the camera.

d) The picture did not depict hand contact. I know of no allegation that the incident did include inappropriate touching.

e) Unlike in Judge Moore's case, where additional victims have emerged, in Franken's case women have risen to Franken's defense, reportedly indicating they feel respected in his office.

f) I've found no reports of Franken being a "repeat offender", meaning there was a behavior pattern. This substantiates point "c" above, that however vulgar, crass, and offensive it may be, at this point there doesn't seem to be evidence emerging that Senator Franken has a pattern of abusing women.

That may not make what Franken did right. But I'm not sure even the woman at issue thinks it should be a career ender for Franken.
