if it was provably true, then tactically what we should do is get him elected and then have the senate kick him out. You have to be pragmatic about these things. Judicial nominations, taxes, other such things comes first. Can't let a democrat get a seat in alabama.

Its not meant to disprove anything, it is meant to point out that a person has excused the same actions of someone because of their support for that person and their condemnation against another guilty of doing exactly the same thing......that is the definition of hypocrisy.....

I agree completely. Hypocrisy is never a good argument. It never addresses the point. It's a form of ad hom. It doesn't even prove a person does not believe what they are selling, it just means they don't live by what they may believe.
I might say that the keys to happiness are hard work, saving and wise investment and live like the proverbial grasshopper. That doesn't have a damn thing to do with whether I am right or wrong. Now, in the instant case it can prove someone is
prone to bad character traits. So Moore and Franken may be bad people who should not have office. Let the chips fall where they may.

Now, as to defending against the hypocrisy, no problem. If Franken abused women, boot him. Simple. Jury is in on Moore and Trump. There is no question. Trump confesses and with Moore they are lining up around the block.

I have to disagree, a forced kiss, tongue down your throat is sexual assault. It isn’t as serious as rape, but it is still a violation.

Uh....the difference between a battery and not IS parsing whether someone was touched or not. That's basically what it comes down to. A harmful or offensive touching.
Now an assault is not happening because she is not in fear of being touched. But you are saying it doesn't matter whether a person is touched? Try that with a rape.
I'll tell you what, 100 percent of lecherous scuzzballs who do not penetrate did not commit a rape. They are guilty of other things.

So, yes. "Parsing" is vitally important.

By "Jury" you obviously mean one of the Court of Public Opinion and since it carries no legal basis, what is the reason for referring to it?
