Two minutes to midnight: Scientists issue second warning...

All you ever hear is a constant litany of doom and gloom regarding climate change. There seems to be a deep human need to be scared shitless even when the danger is actually benign.

You are far from being an idiot but do spout a lot of nonsense, the US has cut CO2 emissions back to 1991 levels. Germany, despite their much vaunted Energiewende, has actually increased theirs by the crazy policy of shutting nuclear and building lignite power stations instead.

Your first link fails, Just FYi.

Your second link works.

Based on that is a discussion, that touches on lignite power stations. I get your argument. I also get the 'Forbes' argument. No money to make, no gain. The main issue is batteries/storage. The scaled industry that gets that, owns all this bullshit. SO if YOU want to be conservative, and make money put your time on finding that FUNDING/BACKING THAT. FUCK Politics. Fund that.

Just seeing.

Without question the Bu-cheny ink water (injection of chemical bullshit) Has been the hallmark of natural gas. It's also been the hallmark of earthquakes in places that never had it with 'natural gas' water tables. None of this is good. No matter how it's framed we are doing more to destroy our collusive balance than make profit. That is the problem. I'm sorry you miss that. We as the preeminent form of life need sto find a long term survival with our planet and our biology. Until we get that all you or my political bullshit

Agree about what exactly? Here is a prima facie example of how people are manipulated by bullshit artists. This video cuts through the crap wonderfully.

"The '97% consensus' article is poorly conceived, poorly designed and poorly executed. It obscures the complexities of the climate issue and it is a sign of the desperately poor level of public and policy debate in this country [UK] that the energy minister should cite it."

Professor Richard Lindzen is the voice of reason, counterbalancing the huge amount of bullshit generated by politicians, environmentalists and media.

Are you kidding me? :rofl2:

The Al Gorians worship Natural Gas as if it was the Holy Ghost.

You have never actually stepped foot in a college classroom, or onto an institution of higher learning. Am I right?

You actually trust, even stake your life, on all aspects of peer reviewed research.....except, oddly, for one - climate science.

You know those prescription meds you take? Yep, peer reviewed research.
You know the clean tap water you are able to drink? Yep, peer reviewed research.
You know the medical tests your family doctor has you take? Yep, peer reviewed research.

You mean many of those prescription medications that are now part of lawsuits? Yep, peer reviewed research failed.

I don't drink tap water.

What I don't do is believe hoaxes when I see them. Seems all that college education you imply you have didn't teach you to do anything but automatically believe those that want to control you. My college degreeS, which I suspect are on a much higher level than yours, taught me to think rather than bend over, grab my ankles, and blindly accept what someone that made something sound good had to say.

How many times has peer reviewed research been shown at a later date to be wrong or someone else provide contradictory peer reviewed research? Funny how eggs, based on peer reviewed research, claimed to be bad for you and other peer reviewed research said eggs were OK.

If, as the peer reviewed research claims, CO2 is causing of global, why haven't all you believers acknowledged it by shutting your holes and no longer emitting CO2? Oddly, you won't voluntarily do something that will stop what you claim is causing a problem you say exists. Tells me you either don't believe it or you're not truly up for the cause.

why is it all of the liberal loons think the sky is falling, "we're all gonna die, stop polluting" whaaaaaa
and just so happen these same loons thought a wicked old witch who lies constantly, maybe the most corrupt woman to ever walk this great land was fit to be our president.
After voting in the Kenyan Wonder boy just to make an affirmative action apology.
SEE a pattern? :rofl2:

Thank the good lord above for this wonderful planet to live on, and gracing this great country with 306 electoral votes worth of us to stop this madness in it's tracks

We’re still the second largest emitter in the world but you do emphasize my point. The issues are manageable.

Germany's crazy current policy has been dictated by Greens who have a visceral and irrational hatred for nuclear energy. It's what happens when you let the inmates run the loony bin and should serve as a timely warning not to repeat their mistakes.

The Al Gorians in the USA believe they epitomize the "Greens" ... and they are pro nuke. Obama broke ground for 2 new nuke plants after a U.S. hiatus of almost 40 years.

Vogtle 3 and 4 are the only ones being built as the rest of the US has backed away from nuclear energy. Meanwhile China is building 20 reactors including 4 AP1000s like those in Georgia.
