I was withholding judgement until more facts came in. But I couldn't help but notice there were many jpp.com posters of the rightwing variety that immediately leaped to the unsubstantiated conclusion that the Texas shooter was Muslim, Antifa, or perhaps some kind of radicalized Kenyan-Muslim-Marxist.

If you have a habit of leaping to a conclusion based on nothing more than sheer conjecture, speculation, and guesswork can you please, never, ever, under any circumstances try to serve on a jury? Innocent people's lives and freedom could hang in the balance!

But in the hours after the shooting, the public didn’t know that. Instead, conspiracy theorists took what shreds of information were available to peddle plausible-sounding theories — or simply make up lies.

I am pretty sure liberals consider pointing out bigotry just a normal expectation for being a average, decent human being.

Is that not the way it works in the rightwing?
They consider pointing out bigotry as "sanctimonious", or as I heard the other day "holier than thou"?

I'm pretty sure Liberals refer to anything they disagree with as bigotry. Because you're left wing, being a decent human being is automatically invalidated.
