I think there's a lot of BS in this article. Nothing wrong with offering thoughts and prayers but how about going a step further? It's like the other BS drivel politicians trot out after shootings: "There's a time and place for the [gun laws] debate ... but today is not that day..."

When is the day? Colbert says "They always say that a gun tragedy is never the right time to talk about stopping the next gun tragedy," Colbert said. "It's like your alcoholic uncle wrapping his car around a tree and getting out, saying, 'Today's not the day to talk about my drinking, okay? I'm still drunk right now. Here's to the tree, what were we talking about, who wants to go for a drive?'"

Furthermore, extrapolating attitudes is not important. Does the average Muslim worshiper control things? Nope. What matters is what the clerics
do and what governments do, and mullahs, and what madrassa (sp) teach. The Pew poll is just derivative and his rough math, one derivative farther from the core truth.
