So the President tells America "mass shooting is about mental health, not guns"

Indeed it was.

I mean this uptick:

Notice when it began?

What are you getting at.

Maybe a little too easily lol.

I said mass shootings *have become more prevalent* over the last decade or so. Without googling, how long have semi-automatic weapons been around?

Decades, but until recently going back to the Thompson Machine they were controlled, but that all ended as the weapons and accessories became more developed and accessible

Is that right, anchovies?

Where did you learn that?

I'll understand if you can't cite a source.

It's about both. Of course a crime of passion could happen. "Lousy Republicans think I'll shoot a bunch of them!" :(

Much more likely a mass shooter is irretrievably unhinged. I am constantly reminded by pros that almost all the mentally ill are harmless and non violent.

So, rapid fire weapons of various sorts were around for decades before this relatively recent uptick in mass shootings?

Why weren’t they used for mass killings in prior decades? Could there be another factor?

Now what does that tell one?

That he's a whack job who doesn't hold the same opinion from one day to the next.

That he speaks with a forked tongue.

That he doesn't know sh*t from Shinola.

They were, that's why they banned the Thompson Machine gun, favorite gangster weapon of the 1920's

Obama adminstration fails to do its job

An Error on the Part of the U.S. Air Force May Have Added to Sunday's Texas Church Shootinghttps://www.redstate.com/sweetie15/2017/11/06/error-part-u.s.-air-force-may-added-sundays-texas-church-shooting/

Sure more gun laws would have helped. Epic fail

The ACLU said it was a mental illness problem while making guns more avaliable to the mentally ill? That's what the President said and did

Well, more restrictions are a moot point with this shooting since it came out that someone dropped the ball on not recording his dishonorable discharge.

I don't know why the ACLU was with the NRA on this bill....or what else the legislation included.

but its a moot point, the Texas shooter wasn't legally or officially tagged as a mental case, crazy, or unbalanced......

he was just as asshole bent on revenge against his mother in law and/or his ex-wifes familty an friends....

The mentally ill have their 2nd amendment rights. If they kill ppl they will be revoked..check~balance.

Wait a minute, how is he more "right then he is politically correct" when he tells America mental illness is the problem while he makes it easier for a person suffering from mental illness to get a guy?

Not true, America has always been plagued with mass shootings, and it isn't that they have become more prevalent in the last decade but rather that they have been more horrific and easier to execute given the improved technology in weaponry, it is the guns, even more so the easy access to guns

Not.
The AR-15 platform was introduced in 1958.
Try again.

How many times do I have to educate you on Constitutional rights emoji, for the last time, no right listed in the Bill of Rights is absolute, never have been, never will, and that is a FACT

Now you are free to offer real content on the topic if you like, otherwise, stick to your banned copy and pastes

Yet many lefties support something that had to be interpreted as a right, abortion, being unlimited and at will. It's easy to prove that they do.
