As is so often the case, Trump is more right than he is politically correct.

There have been guns in this country way longer than anyone reading this has been alive. But only in the last decade or so
have mass shootings become prevalent.

Therefore, it’s not the guns. For whatever reason, there are more deranged killers around than there were in prior decades.

Wait a minute, how is he more "right then he is politically correct" when he tells America mental illness is the problem while he makes it easier for a person suffering from mental illness to get a guy?

Not true, America has always been plagued with mass shootings, and it isn't that they have become more prevalent in the last decade but rather that they have been more horrific and easier to execute given the improved technology in weaponry, it is the guns, even more so the easy access to guns
