Nixon is personally responsible for all the Americans who were needlessly killed after his election. He hijacked the peace agreement that Johnson had hammered out in order to get himself elected.

Wow... that is quite the load of bullshit spin. The vast majority of deaths in Vietnam were under Johnson. You know... the guy that ramped up the war there. Trying to blame Nixon for the war Johnson escalated is nothing short of nonsense.

American deaths under Nixon were not half. Over 58,000 Americans died.

No matter how you try to spin it... Johnson put us in Vietnam in large numbers. Johnson escalated the war. Johnson was nowhere near having a peace agreement in place. Your entire premise is nonsense.

Johnson was equally culpable for the war in Vietnam. Johnson's political career ended because he fucked up and he knew it. It ended him.
Nixon's war was purely for personal political gain and he never had any remorse for the thousands of Americans and millions of Asians needlessly killed in his private illegal holocost ...
