Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said “yes,” she believes the 2016 Democratic nomination for president was rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton, and that the party faces “a real problem” in dealing with the fallout from the revelation that Clinton’s campaign secretly took over control of the Democratic National Committee in 2015.

Responding to the disclosure by Donna Brazile, who became interim chairwoman of the DNC as last year’s election approached, Warren told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday that Democratic leaders must restore faith in the party’s operations.

Senator Elizabeth Warren said twice Thursday in separate interviews that she believed the 2016 Democratic primary was rigged in Hillary Clinton’s favor.

Warren’s comments came after Donna Brazile, who served as the interim Democratic National Committee chairman in 2016, published excerpts of her book in Politico in which she detailed an “unethical” financial deal between the party and Clinton’s campaign.

In the excerpt, Brazile said she told US Senator Bernie Sanders that Clinton “had exerted this control of the party long before she became its nominee.”
 
We all knew this. We saw the emails from wikileaks. It's nice that some people are finally admitting what was painfully obvious. Hillary might have been well qualified and miles ahead of Trump on so many levels, but she was part of the influence peddling problem everyone has been talking about for a decade or more. Again, many people who support her will not see the "problem" and thus will remain mystified by her loss and fail to understand those who voted against her.

I wanted to believe that most people were voting for Trump because they were voting against Hillary, but there are so many people who continue to support him that it leads me to believe there a couple of possibilities:
A)They truly are Trump fans... They love the unsophisticated and hamfisted approach Trump brings to the job. LOVE IT! #Winning

B)They are embarrassed for the party and their choice and they now must play up Trump's cards, finding a winning hand no matter what. It's a defensive mechanism. If they can tell themselves he's not that bad and justify their reasoning to themselves, then to themseleves, Trumps not bad, and it's just all the libtards that are biased against Trump.

Warren and Brazile are trying to get dims to finally come to their senses. Hildebeest was absolutely toxic for dims (as is Pelosi, BTW) . Still is to a lesser degree with her excuses tour and excuses book tour .
Can't blame them for trying to get the rest of them to open their eyes so it doesn't happen again.
