Clinton Campaign / DNC paid for Steele Dossier

Either cons won't understand this, or they'll pretend they don't because acknowledging it would blow their conspiracy theory all to hell.
It isn't hard to understand. They know that spewing Hannity's nonsense here does nothing but waste bandwidth.

If Trump is as guilty as you think/hope he is, he's going down anyway.

In that case, if Trump fires Mueller he would at least have a chance, since republicans control congress. But Trump has made no attempt to fire Mueller and is even cooperating with the investigation.

Why do you suppose that is?
Think of trump as the rape VICTIM this time. Instead of the predator. He has to comply. He has no choice.

Read what happened when Nixon fired his special prosecutor. Bork appointed a new one.

Rape is kind of a good word for it lol.

His choice is to fire Mueller or go along with it. If he's guilty, then the latter choice equals nearly 100% probability of impeachment and perhaps even doing time.

If I'm Trump and I know I'm guilty, I take my chances with firing Mueller---and it's a no-brainer.

Too late for that. The info is now out there, and someone else will step up and take the reins.

Now trump's inane Klan rallies, tweet storms, attacks on Republicans, and public pressers all make sense. He knows he's toast. He's making sure he doesn't lose the 30% of the country that is his base. He has Bannon working the streets to make sure House Republicans fear for their lives....thus making impeachment all but a silly concept that will never come to fruition.

But if Trump really is guilty, he has a 99.9% chance of impeachment in doing nothing. It's basically waiting for the inevitable to happen. Nixon did it out of desperation but Trump isn't acting desperate.

Trump takes the chance and fires Mueller in that event. What's he got to lose?

I'm not sure where you're going with this. If he really is guilty he should be impeached. And firing Mueller doesn't negate that option.

Surprisingly, I agree with Christiecrite.

So far Mueller has indicted a couple of swamp creatures with a brief and tenuous connection to Trump, and whose alleged crimes have no suggestion of any collusion by the president.

Let Mueller stay the course.

Assuming, Trump is guilty, he has nothing to lose by firing Mueller. That's my point.

There's even a decent chance someone would get appointed who has an interest in the FBI's role in the Fake News Piss Dossier [which originated with *the Russians*] or other sundry democrat scandals.

Sounds better the more I think about it, actually. But Trump shows no apparent interest in firing Mueller or even slow-walking evidence Mueller requests.

Why do you suppose that is?

I'm not suggesting that Trump fire Mueller.

I'm trying to get them to open their minds to the possibility they've been had on the collusion hysteria and that Trump is acting innocent because he knows he has nothing to worry about it.

If you're trying to lead me into saying something like "because he's innocent" I can't oblige you. I think he's corrupt and dirty and so far nothing he's said or done has changed my mind about that.
