Evolution is not a human construct. If our government was truly socialist, then it wouldn't allow citizens to have any control over the private sector. We would have a situation like Medieval Europe, where governments determined who could work in which sector, and under what circumstances.

Funny that you put men in there, when men don't have the equipment to carry children. You live in a fantasy world. In the real world, women have unwanted pregnancies. Thousands -- tens of thousands -- of women and children are raped every year. You want these 'women' to be forced into slavery. There is no alternative to your viewpoint without allowing reproductive rights.

You can rationalize cold-blooded killing all day long; it doesn't remove the blood from your hands. I mentioned men, because of how many deadbeats there are running around in the world, lacking the character to stay with the mother once they find-out that she is pregnant.

You can rationalize slavery all day long. I place higher value on the lives of sentient beings first, since their rights are at stake. And women should have the choice over men, since 'God' gave HER the equipment, not the man.

I don't bother much to discuss religion with leftists, except to point out that this isn't Jacobin France or Bolshevik Russia, so you won't be abolishing it in America anytime soon.

I don't want to abolish religion, although government absolutely needs to be secular. And if you are religious... well, I guarantee you don't want to debate me. I'm more well versed in religion than I am in political terminology, and on both scores you are coming up the loser.

The main point is that Trump is redefining the GOP itself.

The party itself already seems lost, less than a year in. After 4 years, it won't be recognizable - which I know is what some (if not many) on the right want.

I can't help but think there will ultimately be a lot of regret for this. It's hard to see the new "Trumpian" party build the kind of lasting coalition that would be needed for real change. But who knows. I've been wrong before, right?

A political victory is easily achieved through your standard hoodwinking. I'm talking about victories as far as culture and civil and human rights are concerned. It could easily be argued that Trumpism is one final backlash at the monumental victories liberalism has achieved in these areas.

There's nothing to debate if you don't even know what a particular political term means. Generally, the debate is over the merits of a particular idea, properly understood.
