Problem with the attempt is that it is old, it gets it expected endorsement and play on Fox and with the radio demogogues, the usual Congressman make their phony moralism appeals, and the conservatives eat it up, but it puts the rest of the Nation to sleep. Last year's scapegoats don't apply anymore, been there, done that

It does show the President is getting desperate if the best he can do is relive last year's election
