The principle is exactly the same, how is it possible to deny that? So really what you are saying is you don't mind a cheap fence along the border which patently is little deterrent but you dislike something that might actually do the job?

It wouldn't be along all of the border anyway as large parts are extremely difficult to cross due to mountains, river and other natural obstacles.

Yes, because even though border security is the object, funding is problem and the fact that this giant wall is riddle with logistical problems.

There are many way security can be achieved that is effective and less costly.

We are securing our borders, but no security is 100% and most terrorists enter through other means or are homegrown. I don’t find most illegals to be a threat, in fact, they are vital to our economy.
