The status quo parties... Not like they are going to have the will of the ppl @ the top of the agenda when it conflicts w/ "higher" priorities...

Looks to me like the status quo parties simply aren't keeping up with the will of people so of course they should feel threatened. Same as what happened with communism in the '80's. They couldn't keep up. Now it's extinct. Even in so called communist countries. You should see today's Vietnam .
I'd like to see the dims and repubs disband and start all over. It's why Trump got elected. He's crude as a politician and as a person but he's no republican. He just had to run as one to get nominated.
And dims blaming 'da russians' and alienating anybody that disagrees with them on any little minor thing will get them nowhere.
Things seem to be changing too fast for either major party to keep up. Dims and repubs are divided into several factions that don't even get along with each other.
Everybody has their theories as to how Trump won and there's many reasons, no doubt. In the end it was karma, if that's the right word. hrc had to use her political weight to get an unfair advantage for the nom. Trump did it on his own.
And don't give me the russian angle. Assuming they actually did help Trump, they just reinforced what we already knew about hrc and the dnc, didn't they?

SOme very good points.....

There have always been factions but now it seems that their special interest handlers won't stand for any collusion/bipartisanship for the betterment of the country... If one of them starts to get out of their lane there will be threats/hell to pay via these special interest group$$$$......

why do we need ethnic purtiy? everyone of our country is welcome to prosper as is all the czechs in their country. cant we just be happy that they have chosen self rule instead of being controlled by a dictatorship from another country? and cant we be doubly happy that they have chosen to reject rapefugees?
