NFL to Donald Trump -- FUCK YOU

The ACA has been effectively killed by rescinding the unconstitutional subsidies enacted by emperor Obama through executive order.

Funny, I could've sworn the SCOTUS upheld it.

I guess they didn't realize that you are the arbiter of what is and is not constitutional.

Subsidies are part of the law. Without repealing the law, the subsidies stay. Funding for same is the issue. trump wants insurance companies to go under, so that we can have Single Payer.

Sorry but the Constitution clearly states that it is the congress who appropriates funding, the Congress never did that so Obama did so through executive order, Trump rescinded those executive order, Trump doesn't want single payer he wants to kill the ACA he tried to do so through congress but the traitor McCain fucked it all up, rescinding the executive orders of Obama was the only option left, the ACA is dead and Congress will now be forced to act.

They upheld the penalty for not purchasing insurance by telling Congress to rewrite it as a tax, they did not uphold the notion that the POTUS can appropriate funds through execitive order, you're talking out of your ass dipshit.

NFL rejects rule change that would force players to stand for the national anthem
Owners met with players on Tuesday and discussed ways they can work together for positive change on social issues.

All eyes have been on NFL players who are protesting police brutality and racial inequality during the national anthem. On Tuesday, NFL owners decided against a mandate that would have required players to stand for the anthem going forward. There will be no rule change, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

There apparently wasn’t even a vote that took place among owners ..

On Tuesday, commissioner Roger Goodell told reporters at a press conference, “We believe everyone should stand for the national anthem, it’s an important part of our game.” He also stressed that he understood the concerns of the players, and that he felt the league could help them combat the societal issues.

On Monday, the Congressional Black Caucus wrote a letter to the NFL in support of players who protest during the national anthem. The letter invoked Dr. Martin Luther King’s Letter From a Birmingham Jail to white clergymen who were opposed to racial injustice but disagreed with the method of civil rights protests in 1963.

Dr. King hoped in his letter that those he was writing to would see the “justice of our cause,” and I hope the same for you and others. I understand your discomfort with kneeling during the National Anthem, but please understand our pain―pain that we as African Americans have carried since we were first brought to this country on slave ships.

Now these protests can continue with no official repercussions for players.

NFL won’t change policy to force players to stand for national anthem
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the league and its owners didn't discuss discipline for players who don’t stand during the anthem.

That's what it appears the NFL said to Kaepernick.

You're a total fucking idiot.

Congress didn't rewrite Obamacare and the SCOTUS didn't tell them to.

You're the one who's talking out of your ass dipshit.

I don't think so, I know so.

President Donald Trump flip-flopped on a flip-flop Thursday afternoon, telling reporters he’s “open to” a bipartisan health care deal Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Patty Murray (D-WA) struck earlier this week.

Chrispy, Chrispy, Chrispy......the courts told Obama he had no authority to authorize the payment of subsidies because Congress had to do it........Trump said "Congress, do it" because the law said he could not.......Alexander and Murray proposed a two year subsidy program.......it needs to pass both houses of Congress, go through reconciliation........then Trump can read it and decide if he will sign it.......he's open to health care talks.......he has told them he won't sign something that will enrich insurance companies.......let's see if Congress can pass something that meets his requirements before you start celebrating......

:0) You aren't too bright .. but you're funny as hell.

Try actually reading the OP before you comment on it. The NFL has instituted no such ban .. and they barely discussed it .. and the attendance is down for all major sports, including those that kiss the orange ass .. and NFL attendance is down a 'whopping' 7.5% instead of the 30% or more that would give the crap they stick in your head any validity.

You funny :0) Comment on my oosts anytime you like. I look forward to it. :)

Irish is as stupid as a box of rocks.

When you stop conflating a subsidy, and an appropriation of funding to insurers for same, you'll have a better understanding of the insurance issues this country is facing.

Until then, you'll just continue to sound like an idiot.

The administration said it would stop reimbursing insurers for discounts on co-payments and deductibles that they are required by law to offer to low-income consumers. The reimbursements are known as cost-sharing reduction payments, or CSRs.

Insurance companies still have to give the discounts to low-income customers. So if the government doesn't reimburse the insurers, they'll make up the money by charging higher premiums for coverage.

trump keeps referring to 'handouts to the insurance companies'. He wants to kill the insurance companies, and employ Single Payer in this country. Why else would he try to harm insurers?

Oh...that's right. He's too stupid to realize that he knows nothing about the ACA, save for the fact that Obama accomplished it so it must go.

Kinda like you.

Interesting characterization of guys who are risking their careers to stand up for equal rights for those less advantaged than they are.

Risking their careers? Seriously? You are so melodramatic.

Hopefully you are watching more football to make up for the decline.

The left has been out to destroy football for years. If it wasn’t the faux outrage over the Redskins it was the faux outrage to faggify the league with a below average player like Michael Sam.

Odd that nobody has hired Colin since they really want to stick it to Trump dontcha think.

Fortunately nobody takes Talcom X seriously anymore
