We've always had political divisions and we always will.

What we have not had are openly racist and incredibly unfit for office buffoonish presidents like Trump.

He has opened the eyes of many across the planet that America has never been the nation it pretends to be.

I expect more of a effort to live up to what we have never been.

We are becoming even more divided as we seperate where we live based on political beliefs and choose our news sources (echo chamber) based on our political beliefs.

Look at Jimmy Kimmell's comment the other day that if someone disagrees with him about guns he wouldn't want to have a conversation with them anyway. I use him as an example but he's far from the only one with that mindset. I see people on Facebook going on "friend diets" meaning if you didn't vote for who I voted for please defriend me.

So as more and more people go off into their own quarters the divisions only increase. It's a team mentality and we lose sight of our individuality

I most certainly have not lost sight of my own individuality by any stretch of the imagination. But there is nothing wrong with being on the same team/side that shares my political and societal beliefs. That's called politics.

What would be the point of talking to people that you share no common ground with? Take this board for instance .. what would be the point of talking to racist morons on this board like CFM? How about none .. no point whatsoever in talking to shit like that .. so I ignore his racist ass .. just as I ignore racist motherfuckers throughout my walk in life. Who the fuck needs them or their conversation?

This trend/movement to separation is way bigger than Trump and started far before Trump.

And Jimmy Kinmell's comment wasn't directed at people like CFM. CFM is a trailer park nobody. It was towards regular people with whom he disagrees.

Look to your own party for answers to why we are so divided.

Why weren't you asking these questions when Obama was in office? How much time have you devoted to admonishing your own party about these divisions?

These divisions are a response to what republicans have been doing for a long time.
