Before Weinstein....

If you accept the accusation against Clinton, you accept all of the accusations against Trump.

Right? What's the difference, aside from one guy being a Dem, and one guy being Republican?

Actually, the women who accused Clinton of assault have all recanted or otherwise discredited themselves.

Or paid off, you forgot to mention that

If that is true, that makes them less creditable in the first place, right?

If you can be paid off, maybe you made it up to get money.

Well everybody has their price, as an ambulance chaser you ought to know that well enough

You're really off the rails, Tommy.

I haven't seen one post of yours in literally months that wasn't just a mindless personal attack.

Hollywood is no different than any other industry, its rampant with sexual harassment and abuse. We need a better justice and education system to deal with this problem.

Really? There's a casting couch from top male attorney's for women who want to be lawyers? Any successful female attorney had to sleep with a powerful male attorney to get where she is?

Harassment & assault come in all shapes in sizes. I don't think this is unique to Hollywood - I think it's more pronounced in Hollywood. In Hollywood, there are guys like Weinstein who can literally make & break careers, which gives predators like him real leverage. There is fear for career in other industries, but there aren't many others where you can literally be ruined. If you work in insurance or something, you can just go to a different company. If you want to be an actress, you basically have to work in Hollywood.

One thing that has come out as I've been reading more about this is how pervasive harassment of women still is, in 2017. National awareness really started with Anita Hill, and I'm sure there has been progress, but I think our culture is still one that is at least partly defined by male entitlement.

Hollywood is not like other industries. A List women celebrities had to sleep with or do things with Weinstein to get roles. Like you said, no other industries do individuals have that much power.

I work in the Silicon Valley and there have been cries of sexism for years out here. I mean nothing to the extent of Hollywood but the Valley has issues. Wall St is not immune either. But nothing comes close to Hollywood. I went to school and have lived in LA. I have friends that work in the industry. I've heard stories and it's not like what you hear in other industries.

Almost all moderately attractive female attorneys who work with other attorneys has been sexually harassed.

Well, no argument there. I think it's everywhere, but Hollywood is bad news for sure.

I couldn't believe Tarantino's statement yesterday, that he basically knew & could have done more. I guess I applaud his honesty for saying it - because I'm sure there are dozens of others who knew and stayed silent - but it's still pretty damning. At some level, whether he really made the decision consciously, or if it involved a series of rationalizations & denials, he made the call that his career & money were more important than protecting women from a predator.

Trump IS president and head of the Department of Justice!

And Hillary isn't.

That's the basis of your entire grievance, and we both know it, Comrade Brad Jarod.

Say, didn't you say you sold your practice and expected to retire in 5 years a while back?

Wring. I accept allegations based on their credibility.
