A few short generations ago, the dismal numbers for blacks of today didn't exist. It wasn't until the 1960s that things started going south for the blacks and it damn sure didn't have anything to do with white people. The decline began after the things you bleeding hearts constantly use to say blacks were on an even keel were put in place. The socio-economic factors and bastard birth rate were far lower before things like affirmative action and civil rights legislation of the 60s were in effect. The only thing you have is "blame whitey". If that's it, move on, you lost.
As to your question, yes. The difference is my family took it upon themselves to overcome that and pass down to their descendants what they used to overcome it. By the way, overcoming it took far less time than blacks have had to do the same thing. Is that because I'm white? I don't know. What I do know, and that's all that matters, is I don't concern myself with what happened but with the reaction to it. In my case the reaction was different than I see many blacks. I don't blame anyone for what my ancestors 3 generations ago had to deal with. You, and far too many blacks, do. I don't expect anyone to give me a damn thing as a result of what happened to my family. Too many blacks do.

I didn't draw conclusions. I didn't have to. The numbers speak for themselves. Sometimes it's just that easy.
I gave the historical context. Actually, I provided a link showing how things today are far worse in many areas than they were closer to the time you want to use the excuse of people having had their culture ripped away. According to the FACTS from my link, blacks weren't near as bad off in many areas as they are today. Can't blame today's numbers on segregation and slavery. The numbers for blacks were better closer to the time of slavery and during segregation. That's historical context, son.
If you actually read the link I provided on the numbers several generations ago instead of automatically dismissing them because someone you consider the person that wrote it as an Uncle Tom, you might learn something.
