And it had little or nothing to do with bump stocks. If banning them makes you feel safer you know nothing about guns.

The planning and execution of the Vegas shooting was professional grade. That, and not bump stocks, is what made the difference. Sniping from 300 yards with a couple of good scope mounted semi-automatic deer rifles could have had the same effect if done by a skilled shooter.

Good luck banning those.

As a gun owner lifetime member of the NRA and 2nd Amendment defender. Tell us oh great and knowledgeable one, of what use is a bump stock to any average sportsman, hunter, or target shooter? Seems to me anyone who believes he/she must have a weapon that fires almost as fast as a fully automatic weapon has a Rambo complex.

As far as mass shooting I guess you have never heard of copycats, and the attention the media has given bump stocks was nothing but a lesson in how to kill more people to those who would do such a thing.

I "DO NOT" advocate banning bump stocks but I think they should be treated like fully automatic weapons and require a special federal firearms license to own or have one in your possession.

No one was killed by the bombs dropped on Japan, they were killed by the people who chose to drop those bombs, mainly Harry Truman who refused to allow another Okinawa style battle that killed almost as many troops as the entire Vietnam war
