the deal has always been worthless. It doesn't stop Iran,and while they are supposedly not doing enriching-
they are using the time to fully develop long range ICBM ( which will find their way to North Korea)..

But a nuclear Iran isn't an existential threat like N. Korea is
while the real threats from Iranian hegemony of the middle east are ignored

the deal itself has no meaning..at best it slows "breakout" maybe 7 year s ( last I looked) -and what did we get for it?

I mean it was inevitable that Iran would weaponize- but we gave up a lot of frozen money they poured into their
exhibitionary( Qods) forces that threaten not just Saudia Arabia ( by Iran supporting their proxies in Yemen)
but also increasing the depth and reach of Hezbollah. (Syria/Lebanon) as well as Iraq

Better just to have stayed out of it - Iran was going to eventually trade with the world -sanctions or not-
but lifting the sanctions rocketed them into trade and military reach (hegemony)
