At the Boston tea party, Do you think the white English aristocracy complained because the colonists did not treat the tea with enough respect?

they were destroying corporate property.

Im sure the right now would have have them shot by police

If you think about the Boston tea party, It sounds like something anti-fascist would plan.

1) unless it's a employer mandate to stand, i'm fine with them kneeling
2) if they are kneeling because of police brutality, they cannot then be advocating that only police should have the guns
3) this is a stupid assed analogy that isn't even close to whats going on.

So? Why is that relevant? They were opposing their government.

Gerud, do you love America or do you love Great Britain? This equivalency game can and does only work on leftists for a glaring and obvious reason (I ask the same question of the pro-Confederate crowd when discussing the Civil War). If you and I were loyalists, discussing these affairs together during our first weekend in Halifax, after having been driven out of New England by our obnoxious neighbors - then you'd have a point.

It is all relative, the point is that sometimes it is appropriate, even patriotic, to complain and protest something your nation is doing.
