If the Deep State doesn't exist...

You just gave an example of it.

Just *days* before the election Comey announced a new investigation into Hillary---and wrapped it up days[!] later.

Someone on the inside pulled some strings on that one. In fact, it calls for an investigation into the investigation. If Jeff Sessions wasn't absolutely worthless we'd have one by now.
The issue is that Congress leaked it. So Congress is the deep state?

Correction...Republicans in Congress have ordered this. More specifically....Nunes, who has been proven to be in collusion with trump, has ordered this.

The FBI cannot trust Nunes to keep any information secret. As such, he will get nothing. Which is exactly what he deserves.

and this is precisely the issue we are talking about. You have an unelected division of government able to effectively ignore the elected branches. That is a problem in any democracy.

And every time you address it, you ignore the fact that this was the first time that a candidate had deep ties to Russia.
you still don't get it..
It's not up to Comey/Clapper/Brennan and the Obama leftovers to determine US/Russian relations.

Selective leaking ensures that crap like Clapper's non-classified assessment is written with few facts
(and even those are obscured by using classification dodge) and a lot of long winded opinion.

Basically the CIA/FBI etc. will simply not have an improvement to Russian relations.
Trump promised to improve those -that's a direct threat to Deep State.

No. Congress like the press may be willingly complicit, but the powers of the IC leadership determine what to include in Intelligence reports, and they write the assessments

Nunes reported to Trump on an issue [the illegal unmasking of his associates] that had nothing to do with the Russian investigation. But democrats used that as a justification to get Nunes out of the way of their McCarthy-ite witch hunt. It was bullshit.

Nunes is a congressman. If he issues a subpoena it carries the wait of congress.

What is the FBI hiding? Why don't they just comply with the subpoena? What legal justification do they have in ignoring a subpoena? Did the FBI pay Christopher Steele for the Dossier? Why would the FBI be paying foreign nationals for opposition research during a presidential campaign?

No wonder they don't want to comply.

more DS abuse.
whether Nunes leaks or not -he's on the House Intelligence Community and as such has oversight
of the agencies.
The FBI doesn't get to pick and choose what they will turn over -they are subservient to Congress ( in theory)

Comey leaked info about a new Clinton investigation, days before the election.

If he's such a boogey man against trump, why didn't he inform Congress that he had been investigating trump for ties to Russia, for months at that point?
that goes to Comey's behavior. FBI investigations are supposed to be secret.

Comey felt the need to spell out the Clintonian abuses of classified info over her private server because they were so egregious, and did violate the Gross Negligence section of the Espionage Act.

He didn't indict not because she didn't violate- but because he saw no "intent"
(even though the subsection does not require intent)

18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information

Wrong
They are subservient to the Executive branch.

executive sets the agenda.

intelligence community oversights are the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and
the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Judicial is FISC

trump has severe conflicts of interest with respect to Russia. He cannot be part of any 'improved' relations with Russia. No improvement will occur, until Russian aggression in the region stops. This is nothing new

Incorrect. Nunes had to remove himself from the investigation because he is complicit in the coverup.

The Russian conspiracy cover up lol?

It's a *fact* Trump associates were unmasked by the IC, probably under the direction of Susan Rice. The Russian thing is mostly innuendo and air.

That's Trump's call as POTUS. the Deep State serves POTUS.
It doesn't Constitutionally get to decide foreign relations

you choose not to see. The various machinations by Comey/Brennan and Clapper should clue you in.

Then there was the rule changes by Obama on sharing INTEl, and getting raw intel ginned up into reports.
Unmasking requests at record pace by Susan Powers who really has no need to know

All of which I have written over and over ( others too) but your partisan mind rejects it before it absorbs it

I dont see any proof of that russobot bullshit commie ass licker

its a Putin meme for the fake news consumers

I do believe that the term 'Deep State' comes from Russian media/propaganda circles, and was carried here by the likes of anatta. Putin's #1 goal is to disrupt Western style democracies -- and by American citizens doubting the legitimacy of Western democracy (to the point of actually HUNGERING for a dictator to lead them) he has largely achieved his goal.

they worked on google and face book too in the shooting

its the new normal

right wing fuck tards will believe anything if it helps them hate democrats

that is the only part of the republican platform that matters to republican voters now.

HATE THE DEMOCRATS

it their only stance

If the Deep State doesn't exist, how would you justify the utter disaster of the Trump administration and your justification for supporting him? Keeping in mind that pro-Trumpers attribute every leak and scandal to the Deep State.
What about the utter disaster in Canada aka Justin Trudeau?
