If the Deep State doesn't exist, how would you justify the utter disaster of the Trump administration and your justification for supporting him? Keeping in mind that pro-Trumpers attribute every leak and scandal to the Deep State.

Well, we know the sky exists based on empirical observation. The proof for the Deep State is rather... non-existant. I've asked for proof repeatedly, and the Trumpers come up 100% empty.

Then there was the rule changes by Obama on sharing INTEl, and getting raw intel ginned up into reports.

Do you deny the existence of buercrats and lobbyists?

Do you deny the existence of 3 letter agencies, especially the ones that have been repeatedly caught lying to the american people and spying on us?

There are government institutions in power which are not elected period. They are real. You may want to debate their actual influence or extent of power but not their existence.
 
The #1 Deep State hitter in this thread just said that lobbyists and bureaucrats are the Deep State. Which is a definition so nebulous and inane as to nullify the existence of a Deep State.

Proof would help your case. But you have no proof. The Deep State didn't exist as a term until the 2016 election.

You never once, not one single time, in your entire life prior to about 12 months ago, started a thread about Deep State, let alone even used the word.

You know when you started using the words "Deep State"? That's right....right when it became imperative to defend your hero Trump, to create the aura of some nebulous entitny that was keeping your hero from achieving the greatness he deserved.

So for my money, "Deep State" is not something that actually exists....it is a figment, a manifestation of your love, worship, and devotion to Donald J. Drumpf. A man you will spend most waking hours of your life defending with every fiber of your being.

then you have the 3 letter agencies that are corrupt and make war on our citizens. the cia drugged people on LSD in the 70's the NSA spies on millions of americans. The generals in the USA planned a false flag operation to murder u.s. citizens to justify war with cuba.

The deep state pulls the strings.

But then you cry because the definition of the deep state is not something you like. So you throw out the definition entirely and then declare it non-existent.

mccain literally passed around a memo where trump was pissed on by russian prostitutes in late december. the whole thing was fabricated. This type of shit has been going on for a long time. Whether the term deep state is a more recent concoction or not is besides the point. many JPP members have been talking about insidious government corruption, evil 3 letter agencies like the NSA for years now. And it's only been that much more evident that the globalists have wanted to take down trump since he's come into office. Quit being butthurt

I use "Deep State" all the time.
it refers to the conjunction of IC leadership coordinating with either the press or elected officials
( in Trump's case both) to manipulate policy thru selected leakage.

There are also Deep State moves - like Comey's leaking to get a Special Council appointed.
He leaked -or caused to leak- classified info in doing so. That's a commonality of deep state deception.
Selective classified leakage.
Or referrals to classified documents you can never see and Congress doesn't really bother with oversight.
Still they are used by those who have access

The entire Russia-phobia fiasco is Deep State designed to ensure there is no chance at rapprochement with Russia

The unelected and unaccountable agencies with their armies of bureaucrats *are* the Deep State. It's not a conspiracy theory.

They're accountable to congress in theory, but in practice, not so much. So the DS essentially operates as a separate government.

For example, as we speak, congress has demanded the FBI hand over all documents related to the Fake News Piss Dossier. The initial request was made weeks if not months ago, but the FBI has refused to comply even under threat of subpoena.

If that isn't a DS machination, maybe Amadeus has a better term for it.

If congress can't control the FBI, who can? Maybe Amadeus can try ignoring a subpoena and see what happens to him lol. Or try lying under oath like Clapper did and see what happens. These agencies fly above the law when it suits their purposes.

Comey leaked info about a new Clinton investigation, days before the election.

If he's such a boogey man against trump, why didn't he inform Congress that he had been investigating trump for ties to Russia, for months at that point?

Correction...Republicans in Congress have ordered this. More specifically....Nunes, who has been proven to be in collusion with trump, has ordered this.

The FBI cannot trust Nunes to keep any information secret. As such, he will get nothing. Which is exactly what he deserves.

You just gave an example of it.

Just *days* before the election Comey announced a new investigation into Hillary---and wrapped it up days[!] later.

Someone on the inside pulled some strings on that one. In fact, it calls for an investigation into the investigation. If Jeff Sessions wasn't absolutely worthless we'd have one by now.
