Since 1934, it was almost impossible to legally buy or own an automatic weapon because of the exorbitantly high prohibitive tax stamp. Since May of 1986, it became impossible to legally buy an automatic weapon manufactured after May of 1986, as it became prohibited by law. That left the LEGAL number of machine guns in civilian hands at an estimated 250,000 and the price tag for a legal automatic at around 24k to 30k. So the argument should be 'how did this guy get a full auto when it's practically impossible to buy one?'
It should be every freedom loving Americans DUTY to own at least one of them to uphold the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Therefore, I support owning them.
Sorry but I've never heard of him, I will check him out.Yea but it was a liberal new Nashville sound act that was playing. Jason Aldean is only stuck in the 1950's....not the 1850's. Damned liberal!

Stephen Paddock, the shooter.
Doubt he studies Islam.
Sounds to me like rightie Trumptards like you are already trying to figure out how to spin your denial it once it's found to be true.
Republicans: Don't pretend to care. You don't. Evil pricks. Another gun massacre., more nothing from the backward redneck party, even when one of your kills a bunch of yours.
I wonder if Thomas Jefferson could have picked off 400 people at that range with a revolutionary war rifle. You know, original intent? Hmmmmm.
I never heard of him before last night either.Sorry but I've never heard of him, I will check him out.
waaaaaaah I can't take more guns

Obviously you have evidence to the contrary, let's see it.
So? What's that even got to do with anything?
How come every time something like this happens, you jump in and claim you or your son were there earlier.
Do you derive some sense of self importance out of it?
Or are you just looking for any excuse to brag that your son attends tech conferences?
Makes you look kind of pathetic.
Have some class, dude.
Dude, you do it so often it's becoming predictable.
Do you need some KY Jelly for your slippery slope there?
In truth, the argument shouldn't be about the political or ideological perspective of the shooter .. nor should it be about his mental stability.
The argument SHOULD be about guns, particularly about automatic or semi-automatic weapons which are only designed to do exactly what the shooter did .. kill lots of people in a short amount of time.
Who supports owning these weapons is the argument.
Unfortunately, lots of those killed supported owning the weapon of their deaths.
Another violent white man committing white on white crime.
What are we going to do about these terrorist?
The shooter was just exercising his second amendment rights and demonstrating that he didn't like country music.
I completely understand.
Based on how he looks, and what he has done, I would guess he was a Ted Nugent fan...
