5 ways tax reform could squeeze the middle class

It is not only the rich that lose home ownership deductions, but also middle class Americans with mortgages on their homes, especially first time home buyers, the problem is the rich who take deductions on all their homes, vacation homes, second and third homes, the deduction should be limited by income and primary residency

Maybe you should elect some people who would propose and pass legislation to that effect.

Obama had plenty of chances to propose it, and didn't.

So did BJ Clinton.

So did Peanuts Carter.

You know, anchovies, it looks as though neither party wants to implement your ideas. :rofl2:

Do you always object to deficits, or is your poutrage only expressed if a Republican wants a tax cut for someone?

What he is doing is pointing out the hypocrisy of the right who cried for eight years about deficits/debt but now seem to be alright with both

And before you start, the last President did reduce the Government's discretionary spending, and the last President to end the fiscal year with a surplus was a Democrat

Sounds like a previously-debunked canard to me, anchovies.

Prove it.

Wrong again, Obama did recommend such but confronted with for two wars, a drug prescription plan, and a historical recession wasn't in the position to negotiate tax cuts, and just to teach you history again, the last President to end the year with a surplus was Clinton

Want to try again?

I see your opinion, but zero evidence to support it, anchovies.

You of all people sweetie should be against anything that adds to our deficit, as you have been crusading against for the past 8 years. Then again, maybe Trump is lying about this as he so often does. He also told us today that the GOP had the votes to pass their health care bill, which you know is a lie. He also lied and said the only reason it didn't come up for a vote was because one Senator was in the hospital, which he wasn't.

Remind me; how much did the Obama administration increase the deficit when he infested the Oval Office?

Again the history lesson, add up the cost of two wars, a recession of historical proportions, a new drug prescription plan and you tell me where he could have cut the debt, amazing part is the he kept it at the level he could

Really, you really have that little knowledge of history? Your now trying to tell us that two wars, a drug prescription plan, and a historical recession didn't occur all at the same time during the Obama Administration?

Buy yourself a high school history book and take the time to catch up
