Jerry Jones and the entire Cowboys team take the knee

Then why is it Trump's business what the owners do about "contract law"? It's their league's contract. And it's a private league.

Trump can speak as a citizen -he has the right to criticize and advocate like anyone else.
He cannot coerce by governmental sanctions

That's one of the lamest excuses for him I have ever heard.

Sorry, when he's POTUS, he's speaking as POTUS. That's just the gig, and everyone knows that, including Trump. As you seem to admit, he cannot control his emotions - but he was out of line w/ what he said, and that's what the NFL was responding to.

As many have said, it would be great to see him get as emotional about Nazis, or Puerto Rico.

And you didn't refute a thing that I said. Once it gets a little too intellectual for you, you bail and fall back to the trite "losing elections" lameness.

You don't think Kap deserved to lose his job after what he said and his actions. I disagree and I think the market determines whether Kap gets a job.

Apparently, the owners don't think his value as a QB outweighs the risks entailed in taking on such a controversial player who could depress ticket sales---with his *radical* views.

Consider yourself refuted.

And THAT I am totally fine with. I don't agree w/ the owners keeping Kaep out of the league, but that is THEIR business. It's a private business, and they can basically do what they want (outside of discriminatory policies & things like that).

But I sure am not going to "condemn" Kaep for exercising his rights as an American and speaking out for others.

Speaking as "POTUS" -what does that mean? Speaking as a governmental official? speaking as a citizen?
does it make any difference? - not really.. Only COERCIVE MEASURES by the government violates free speech.
There are no coercive measures here.

Puerto Rico doesn't need emotions, it needs help- it's legitimate to criticize Trump if he fails there.

Why do you need emotionalism regarding Nazi's?? That is so "feeling"..
You condemn the movement- all that needs to be done. I don't get emotional condemning antifa violence.
I call them thugs..which they are.

You realize that the WH came out & said that Trump's tweets are "official statements"...right?

And please w/ the emotion. It's clear what Trump cares about, and what he doesn't.

OK. so Trump spoke as a government official. nothing changes..
although I do think Trump should have 2 accounts, one for an official ,one for himself

Huh? That's exactly what you were arguing against.

I feel like you're an excuse machine, that we can just feed quarters into or something.
.He can speak as POTUS or an individual -as long as there are no coercive measures applied

Right. The 'sons of bitches' are white. Contrast that with the 'fine' Nazis.
2 different events. He condemned the Nazis -despite your claiming they are his base.

The "sons of bitches" were (rightfully) condemned for their behaviors, not their race. ( did white guys kneel?-asking)
You are looking to insert race, where it is not about race

I love how folks move the bar to justify evil bullshit. Did he say 'this specific thing' or 'that specific thing' to justify the obvious. Asshole er 'Son of a bitch' equated BOTH sides to the killing of a peaceful American, period. There is NOTHING equal to stating a human life Does not matter and EVERY implication to stating some lives are worth killing if a POTUS states all are equal in a protest of ideas with a fucking death. That you 'look' for shit that changes the reality of a death on ONE side, describes your evil. You are on the same side of wrong that all delusional, change the facts to 'fake news' your way to justification do, to hide your evil. Swastika flag wave that shit.

As a crow, I salivate at your stupidity.

Nobody killed her. Coroner's conclusion: heart attack.

Try to keep up with the thread if you're going to weigh in
i'll make my own comments -thank you
