Jerry Jones and the entire Cowboys team take the knee

no it's not a false narrative. The cowboys specifically tried to find a compromise and a way to not offend the flag by kneeling. that's why they did it before the national anthem. They literally thought, discussed, and planned on how to protest while not disrespecting the flag by kneeling. Essentially, the cowboys do not agree with others kneeling during the anthem, given they took such actions to avoid doing that.

Bingo.

Sure, the flag is so sacrosanct that some wear it to cover their ass.

As far as the flag is concerned this is what Kaepernick said:

Colin Kaepernick: I won't stand 'to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people'

So, which Kap defenders will step up and defend that statement? Does the Steelers organization stand behind it? The Cowboys?

I mean, it kind of sounds like you might cry.

Do you see any irony at all in your stance on this, after months of "snowflakes" and "PC" and all of that? Are you really super crazy offended?

they're past the grievances phase. I think..
seems like it's about owners defending the business and kneelers their actions from TRumps comments now

Uh oh - Darth thinks he has a Trump card (no pun intended).

I don't have an issue w/ what he said. As I've said, this country is where it is today because people took a stand for injustice that they saw in their communities or workplaces, and saw America more as a beautiful work in progress than as a perfect finished product.

And whether or not you disagree w/ Kaep, what he did was pretty courageous and selfless.

What comments is he talking about?

But millions of people pay to watch that, and the NFL makes billions, so they're paid according to market value.

Do you have any other justification for the characterization of "overpaid"? Are you anti-market?

Listen Thingy Wingy, I don't care how much they make. Just saying, when you look a gift horse in the mouth, you get what you deserve.

Instead of valuing their good fortune in making millions doing a task which doesn't require a brain is their problem.

Clearly the stereotype of the dumb, brainless athlete is spot on. If people were paying me millions to do that, the last thing I'd do is shit on their flag and country. Dumb! LOL!
