The NFL has made their statement and now they will move on. Old white boomers don't have much going on in their lives, they'll come back!

People think the ratings went down because of Kaep, but they were in some decline regardless. Quality of play, CTE and Patriots fatigue have all been cited as factors.

The people who "boycott" will make a big youtube kind of deal about it, but most fans won't stop watching, and most of the ones who do will come back.

Well in theory I'm free to do it. But patients who I come in contact aren't interested in my political views and my boss would have me in the office if I were to start with on the job protesting. It has absolutely nothing to do with the First Amendment. But I am a *professional* so I wouldn't do it anyway. Kap and the rest are supposedly professional athletes---but I guess they consider themselves a special case of professional.

I think people who oppose these protests and want to see the owners "fire" players are anti-freedom, for the most part.
