Proof that the ACA is already dead

The legislators happen to have adequate insurance that provides for them an exemption from the ACA. Many millions of other Americans share the same exemptions due to their participation in coverages that respect the same minimums. Are you suggesting that ALL Americans should be required to participate in the ACA? That would certainly be a good start for decreasing premiums, co-pays and overall healthcare charges. But that would be too much for any self respecting capitalist to endure, wouldn't it? And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

If Obamacare is so wonderful, why didn't the DEMOCRATS in Congress and DEMOCRAT Obama set an example by switching their own coverage?

Are you suggesting that they are elitists who think they deserve better coverage than their constituents?

I am suggesting no such thing. The ACA is for those that have not been able to afford adequate healthcare coverage prior to it's passage. Over 30 million Americans now have healthcare coverage that they could not afford before the ACA. I think that is a good thing for this nation and I will fight for the continuance of the ACA or a better progam if it can be found. The promises of lil' donnie during his campaign were encouraging. Now? Not so much.

The ACA does not provide adequate health coverage for anyone, unless you can afford a $7,000.00 deductible

How can the government mandate that Americans accept a commercial product that the DEMOCRATS in Congress and DEMOCRAT Obama don't even want for themselves? Why should taxpayers fund the existing healthcare coverage of DEMOCRATS in Congress and DEMOCRAT Obama when Obamacare was available to them?

John Roberts answered that by saying that Obamacare was a tax and that the Congress has unlimited taxing powers

I fully realize that most pukes have no idea of the complexities and actuaries of the insurance industries. Like lil' donnie said, "Who knew that healthcare could be so complicated?" The system that we had before the ACA was atrocious to say the least. Even with the ACA it remains far too expensive and more complicated than most can possibly comprehend. But the ACA is a great step in the correct direction and I will agitate, instigate and irritate to my best abilities to ascertain that we as Americans continue our quests for better healthcare systems in our nation whatever they might be at the time. I KNOW how to do that.

Excellent question. Drippity Doo Doo thinks it was because they had better coverage that the taxpayers gave them, apparently.

Seems elitist to me.

It doesn't make sense because Obamacare requires that all people have health insurance which the Congress already had, this the Congress would not have needed to buy Obamacare, yet they exempted themselves from the law that they were not required to follow anyway. Seems to me that the Congress was already fearful of health rationing and death panels

How could that be? DEMOCRATS claim to be caring and compassionate and are the self-proclaimed champions of equitable treatment for all.

Surely they wouldn't keep a superior taxpayer-funded plan for themselves and mandate that the less fortunate accept an inferior product, would they?

No congressperson gets free healthcare coverage. They pay a portion of the premium, somewhat similar to most other plans offered by employers. Considering that they have a better system than the ACA it would only be sensible for them to keep what they have rather than make a switch. Millions of other Americans fall into the same category. Their systems exceed the minimums required by the ACA. I would call that a no-brainer. But listening to some of the reichwingnuts it is abundantly clear that they truly are afflicted with the no-brainer syndrome. Go figure.

Get a grip loser, they get basically the same coverage as I do, since it is included and you have to pay a certain amount it is basically free since you can not opt out.

Did you take your geritol yet

"They have a better system than the ACA". So DEMOCRATS knowingly inflicted an inferior product upon the less-fortunate while codifying their ability to selfishly retain their own taxpayer-subsidized Cadillac coverage.

I have a better system than Obamacare, that being said I am not required to buy Obamacare, same as the Congress.

I see.

Since the DEMOCRATS in Congress and the DEMOCRAT Obama are supposed to be caring and compassionate champions for the less-fortunate, how can anyone reconcile their selfish retention of elitist taxpayer-subsidized Cadillac healthcare plans? :dunno:

Especially since they mandated that the less-fortunate must accept the inferior products their own plan prescribes.

This is what happens when you let a semi-literate affirmative action baby who can't even add up a column of numbers overhaul our $2 trillion healthcare system.
