I see now, well, in essence it is like treating them like anchor babies. The law needs to change. We are basically encouraging illegal immigration for those with young children. That is both dangerous and against our nation's laws. There has to be another way.

They have to apply. DACA was a temporary measure that The Obama decreed by Executive Order when Congress wouldn't pass the DREAM Act.
Many constitutional scholars think he exceeded his authority by making an end run around Congress.
Be that as it may, to his credit even The Obama told the Dreamers that it was a only temporary stay of deportation and it could be revoked at any time.
The deferment (that's what it is) which they had to apply for, is only good as long as the Executive order stands.
Trump has given Congress 6 months to pass legislation which would grant Dreamers the opportunity to become citizens. Nobody knows how that law will read, because it hasn't bee drafted or proposed yet, much less debated or amended.
In the meantime POTUS will not rescind The Obama's Executive Order. No new applications will be accepted for DACA, and no new work permits will be issued during the interim.
It's worth noting that Congress has never passed an amnesty for illegals (which is what the DREAM act was) despite repeated attempts. The first legislation was introduced ages ago (2001), and the Congress has never acted on it.
Anchors babies are not going away. The concept of jus soli is constitutional.

Because he saw a story that said that Russians were coming to the US and renting Trump-branded condos for the purpose of allowing their child to be born a US citizen.
That hypocrisy of the liberals on this issue is astounding. I made a thread earlier that shows Crooked Hillary, Cryin' Chuck and other
DEMOCRATS saying the same thing in essence that Trump does: Deport all illegals.
