If he is single without friends and family, it is up to him. Selfish people don't think about the people who would actually miss or mourn them, just in case is doesn't work out.
 
That must rank in the top 3 all time accomplishments by anyone from Wales. Got drunk in Vegas, dove in and swam a few feet.

Is that all which concerns you? How about the fact that nobody has ever done that before and lived? Indeed he only survived because all the turbines, bar one, were switched off otherwise he would have been sucked into the turbine blades and ended as chopped liver, spleen, brain etc!

I don't know. How about has anybody ever swimmed across a dam? I don't have a clue how one swims across a dam. It must be kinda like swimming across a street I suppose.
I've walked across a dam.

Welsh? And almost 50% of the signatories of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were Welsh, 20% of the pilgrim fathers were Welsh as was the Captain of the Mayflower itself. And the list goes on.

Jeez, no reason to get huffy. I really can't picture swimming across a dam. You swim across a river. You swim across a lake. So the guy swam from the high water side of the dam to the low water side?
