I think the East side of the storm has the worst winds so Tampa would be on the weaker side but with winds that strong, it will still be bad. Tell me if I'm wrong, Stretch.

Oh no, the power isn't out. Just on edge, with the news hyping everything up 24/7. Just thankful I'm higher up in the state.

I'm doing some LO tomorrow, too. Bring in possible projectiles from outside, fill the rest of my empty gallon jugs with my neighbor's pool water (for flushing when the power goes) and pull my car up to within a couple inches along side my house. I'm also going to set my a.c. for as freezing as I can get it...the refrigerator, too before the power goes.
Hang in there kiddo. If she stays on course up the middle, I've got a direct hit coming here in Ocala, too. Here we go. :cool:

Irma's so huge, it will cover the entire state if she keeps on her present course, So Tampa will feel some effects. Still, it's not as bad as the east coast will experience. I pray your Uncle will just fine. :)

You're correct about Tampa. I know you're feeling the strain. The storm will be quite a bit weaker once it gets up to the Jax area. Still, if you start feeling nervous from the "strange sounds", do like I did during Frances & Jeanne.....grab pillows and blankets and your electronics and get in your bathtub, shut the door. There are usually only small or no windows there. Hang in there. :good4u:

Most states ban the practice on the grounds that it is barbaric and bad policy for one state to dump its criminals on another. And while judges aren't supposed to order banishment in Kentucky, they periodically do so, and an offender has no recourse once they accept it.
