It is because, so far, Texas are still in the recovery stage, there are still flooded areas that can't be reached, the locals and volunteers are doing that!

The real work is starting and funds will be what is required.

What the President says and does is important, especially when people are suffering. I guess I am a little sensitive about this because it has impacted people I know, it's personal and I would never tell them " have a nice day"

I have college classmates and friends in SF from Houston. My wife is from Dallas and has family and friends in Houston. We were watching Facebook video of her friends home last night that was destroyed that my wife had been in. It's very personal. It's why sh*t like this is garbage

It's why Trump should watch what he says, my friends aren't going to have a good day for quite some time and neither are your wife's friends, so if we want to take Trump to task for his stupidity, I think
we have that right. I wouldn't dare to say something so insensitive to anyone here in my neighborhood as they rip the Sheetrock out of their house for the second time in two years! A lot of these folks were also flooded during the Tax Day flood two years ago. The suffering is deeper than Trump will ever realize.
