Well, in fact immigrant aliens are allowed to serve in the Armed Forces and it is a fast track to citizenship.

USCIS established the Naturalization at Basic Training Initiative in August 2009 with the Army to give noncitizen enlistees the opportunity to naturalize when they graduate from basic training. Under this initiative, USCIS conducts all naturalization processing including the capture of biometrics, the naturalization interview and administration of the Oath of Allegiance on the military installation. USCIS has expanded the initiative to the Navy, Air Force, and the Marine Corps, giving enlistees of these branches the opportunity to (in most cases) leave basic training as U.S. citizens.

Those polls are bullshit based on the way those questions are asked. When they add the words....if attending college or in the military, then of course the answer is going to be in support.

The bigger question is why are ILLEGALS permitted to go to college and join the military???? How do you do that when you are not even a citizen??? Grow a brain....THINK!

Look up the restrictions on DACA. Then come back and try to discuss this intelligently. As far as the military, nothing says you care more about being part of this country than serving for it.
