I can't read what Desh posts but for sh*ts and giggles is there any right leaning poster on this board she doesn't think is racist?

Hell, is there any poster (other than her of course) that she doesn't think is racist?

Maybe one of our more technologically minded posters could develop some sort of, what is it the young people call these things - an app or somesuch - in the style of Pokemon Go, where we could wander the streets of our locality, capturing a host of racist JPP avatars for our amusement?

It would stave off the boredom during quieter periods, furnish many posters with the opportunity for, i'd imagine, some much needed exercise, and provide some catharsis to those of us who find the old racism a little distasteful.

there are racists on this site. They believe that skin color should be a factor in things like college applications and employment.

thats much worse than some bad words here and there.

Looks like there is a demand for a modern day version of Matthew Arnold. I am sure that Nostradumbarse​ would make a fine Racist Finder General. He has all the necessary qualifications; he is obnoxious, unrelenting, devoid of personality and dogged. Desh would make a good accomplice to his nefarious activities.

Well, the affirmative action thing is an issue that could/should be debated on an internets political message board.

Not having been in the position where i'm repeatedly denigrated for the colour of my skin on a daily basis, i can't really say if "some bad words here and there" is worse or not, but i'd probably just not do it anyway.

That's circular reasoning Wacko. It's the same as saying you can't be racist if someone disagrees with you cause they're only calling you a racist cause they disagree with you.

Right or wrong if someone thinks you're belief is racist they probably have a reason for believing that.

Though I have to admit that since Grind joined their team their numbers have steadily grown on JPP.

Nice. You used two logical fallacies at the same time. A strawman and a circular argument logical fallacies. Giving increased representation to people who have been historically excluded is not " believing they are less capable" (strawman logical fallacy) but is creating a level playing field. You're just scared or frustrated about having to compete. Secondly you're arguing your views can't be bigoted or racist because someone disagrees with you is circular reasoning and illogical as hell.

If you can't prove that the policy is, in fact, creating a level playing field, then it's not a strawman argument.

It has. Women now make up the majority of college enrollment. That's a big change from 50 years ago. Minority enrollment has also increased dramatically as well as women and minority's representation in the professions have grown dramatically too. Yet in that time the percentage of white men obtaining college educations has also grown.

Like it or not Affirmative Action has worked and those who bitch about it are largely people who lack either the talent, skill or work ethic needed to compete or people who were born on third base who think they hit a home run.

College enrollment aside, women were deliberately brought into the workplace for decades as a deliberate, racist reaction to AA and quotas. I would say, therefore, that female workforce participation was artificially inflated for a long time as a result of attitudes which run counter to AA.
