Sometimes I wonder what on earth he is talking about, and wish that he would choose his words more carefully, if for nothing else but respect for the office.
I also think he brilliantly plays the media and his dissenters. Not a fan, but credit where credit is due.

I'll give him some credit for that - and add that he also knows how to play his supporters.

I don't think Trump is a particularly intelligent man, but he has an almost idiot-savant quality when it comes to human psychology & manipulating people.

I tend to a agree but that's just not Trump. Trump's gonna be Trump and you have to be your own man. His style is confrontational which is gonna rub folks the wrong way. It certainly does me.
What works for him probably wouldn't work for anybody else.
Reagan used hand written personal letters to great effect as well as charm and humor. No wonder he was The Great Communicator.
Bill Clinton told bold faced lies, we knew he was lying, virtually everything that came out his mouth was a lie but it worked for him.
