i feel your pain brother domer. If only the people in Africa handled their affairs better they would be able to help their populace.
 
something i realized in this situation is because of how polarized politics is people go out of their way to help those on their side because they feel they are all together against the other (i.e. the left or the right depending on your perspective). There is of course no way to know who voted for who but they know Texas is a trump state so deplorables have to stick together.
