So let's just forget that Assad deployed chemical weapons, not once, but twice. If Obama had dealt with it in 2013 then Trump wouldn't have had to in 2017. Of course if Obama hadn't allowed Daesh to come in being, then the war in Syria wouldn't have escalated to a full scale confrontation.

The United States has justified airstrikes as part of the collective self-defense of Iraq, which asked for help against Daesh.
